Construction Starts in Spring 2026
Hideaway Park is receiving a new play structure, landscaping, and surfacing in the spring and summer of 2026! Demolition is scheduled to start the week of October 27, 2025, and is expected to take approximately two weeks to prepare the area for updates in the coming year. Following demolition, some areas will remain closed and dormant throughout the winter.
The new play structure, landscaping, fencing, and surfacing at Hideaway will be installed by Fisk Landscapes with a goal of completion and ribbon-cutting celebration on June 20, 2026.

While this is an exciting transformation, we understand it means a temporary disruption. Some areas around the playground will be closed for safety until the project is complete.
