Hideaway Skate Park
About the Park
The Hideaway Park skate park was built in the summer of 2007 and made a great addition to Hideaway Park. It became so popular with locals and guests that an expansion was put in Hideaway Skate Park 3 years later, adding approximately 6,000 square feet. The skate park is now a total of 14,000 square feet with added space for all levels of skaters and riders.
The expansion was funded by a Great Outdoors Colorado grant and consists of 3separate sections. The banks section, complete with “Twinkie” and “love seat,” has unlimited new options for all levels of users. 2 new manual pads were also added, giving kids a place to learn grinding tricks. The third part of the addition is the new mini halfpipe, which is ideal for kids to learn countless “lip tricks.”
