Join the Town of Winter in celebrating the completion of the Vasquez Creek Trail Improvement Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 28, at 4:30 p.m. at Hideaway Park. Meet us behind the Rendezvous Event Center Stage!
The three-month project focused on creating a safer, more welcoming trail while protecting the creek’s natural environment. The upgrades follow the trail section that runs from behind Hideaway Park to near Confluence Park, and they were made possible in part by a $79,055 grant from Grand County’s Open Lands, Rivers, and Trails (ORLT) program.
Come to the ribbon cutting to grab a snack, hear about the project, and tour the improvements, which include new spaces for gathering, relaxing, and exploring the outdoors.
