Accessible Unit - Hideaway Place Apartments Rental Lottery

The Town of Winter Park has rental opportunities in Hideaway Place apartments, a mobility-accissible 2-bedroom 1-bathroom unit renting for $1,695 with an estimated availability date of February 15th, 2025. The Town is presently accepting applications from interested, eligible tenants. Electricity and natural gas is billed seperately through the Town. Water is included in monthly rent.

Eligibility Requirements Include:

Must be a current full-time resident of Grand County
Must be employed a minimum of 32 hours a week or 1,500 hours per year for a Grand-County Based Employer
Must not own other residential property in Grand County or list property for sale if selected
Must earn no more than 85% of Area-Median income ($61,000 for a one-person household, $70,000 for a two-person household, or $78,500 for a three-person household) (unrelated roommates can both qualify as one-person household) or qualify as a critical employee (employed by tax-funded entity or health care provider in Grand County.

Applications will be accepted through the Town’s website. Applications must be received by January 31, 2025.

GRAND COUNTY RESIDENCE

Full-time residents must reside in Grand County 10/12 months annually and have a permanent residence located in Grand County. A permanent residence shall mean the home or place in which one’s habitation is fixed and to which one, whenever he or she is absent, has a present intention of returning after a departure or absence therefrom. In determining what is a permanent residence, Winter Park Housing Authority may take into account, without limitation, the following circumstances relating to a Lot Owner: location of business pursuits, employment and income sources; residence for income tax purposes; residence of parents, spouse and children, if any; location of personal and real property; and motor vehicle registration. Full-time residence will be verified for selected applicants.
