Starting August 11, the end of Ski Idlewild Road will be closed to thru traffic near the Riverwalk Townhomes to Rendezvous Road in Fraser for the construction of the Rendezvous development. The road closure is expected to last through November 2020 to allow for the installation of utilities, construction of a new bridge and rebuilding of the road with new grades.
The Idlewild Trail system will be closed within the project area during construction and trail access in this area will be re-routed through the High Country House trailhead. Pedestrians can also access Confluence Park through the existing paved Fraser River Trail behind the Riverwalk Townhomes. Signage will be in place to help guide trail users.
