The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Town Council on land use issues such as rezoning, subdivisions, planned unit developments, and site and architectural plan reviews. The Commission also makes decisions on special use reviews. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Town Council members and staff. Selected applicants may be contacted to schedule an interview with the committee.

 

Requirements & Duties

  • 5 of the 7 members must be residents of the Town of Winter Park and registered voters.
  • Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (50 Vasquez Road).
  • Commission members must commit to attending both monthly meetings throughout the year.
