Commercial Enhancement Grant Program
The Winter Park Commercial Enhancement Grant Program is a fund that can be utilized by local organizations or businesses to beautify their property and Winter Park, thereby encouraging pedestrian/business activity in commercial areas. Organizations or business owners interested in receiving funds can submit an application outlining their proposal and anticipated impacts. The allocation of funds is based upon the merit of the proposal.
Grant amounts are limited to 50% of the project's total cost. Funding amounts are determined based on a review of the application and evaluation of the potential beneficial impact on the business activity and the overall effect on the downtown area regarding traffic flow, pedestrian accessibility, and beautification.
To apply for a Commercial Enhancement Grant, complete and submit your application to the Community Development Department in Town Hall, 50 Vasquez Road. Grants are reviewed once a year in the fall. Deadline for submittal is September 1. Upon review by the Planning and Zoning Commission, applications are sent to Town Council for final approval.
