Housing Lottery

Once a year, the Town of Winter Park draws a lottery to determine who from our community is eligible for apartments that become available throughout the next year. The 2024 rental lottery is open July 17-29, 2024. Please fill out the application below if interested in the currently apartments in Hideaway Place Apartments or any apartment that may become available until July 31, 2025. This lottery is NOT for Hideaway Junction homes or Fireside Creek Apartments.

Hideaway Place Apartments Rental Lottery

The 2024-25 housing lottery is now open. Applications are due July 29, 2024, at 5 p.m. The lottery will occur on July 31, 2024, at 3 p.m. via Zoom webinar. Click the link to watch the live stream. Recordings will be available upon request by contacting housing@wpgov.com.

This lottery is NOT for Fireside Creek Apartments or Hideaway Junction single-family homes.

Housing Lottery Application 2024-2025

The Town of Winter Park has rental opportunities in Hideaway Place apartments, including a one and two bedroom apartment available in August. The Town is presently accepting applications from interested, eligible tenants. Monthly rent will be $1,540 for a one-bedroom and $1,850 for a two-bedroom) Electricity and natural gas is billed seperately through the Town. Water is included in monthly rent. Eligibility Requirements Include: • Must be a current full-time resident of Grand County • Must be employed a minimum of 32 hours a week or 1,500 hours per year for a Grand-County Based Employer • Must not own other residential property in Grand County or list property for sale if selected • Must earn no more than 85% of Area-Median income ($61,000 for a one-person household, $70,000 for a two-person household, or $78,500 for a three-person household) (unrelated roommates can both qualify as one-person household) or qualify as a critical employee (employed by tax-funded entity or health care provider in Grand County. Applications will be accepted through the Town’s website. Applications must be received by July 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The Town will complete the annual lottery on July 31st at 3:00 pm. Several communications will be sent ahead of the housing lottery to confirm applications and allow for corrections. You do not need to be present at the lottery to be selected.
