Commercial Enhancement Grant Program
The Winter Park Commercial Enhancement Grant Program established a fund which can be utilized by local organizations or businesses to beautify their property and Winter Park, thereby encouraging pedestrian/business activity in commercial areas. Organizations or business owners desiring access to these funds shall submit applications outlining their proposal and anticipated beneficial impacts. Allocation of funds will be based upon the merit of the proposal.
Grant amounts are limited to 50% of the project's total cost. Funding amounts are determined based upon a review of the application and evaluation of the potential beneficial impact on business activity as well as the overall effect on the downtown area regarding traffic flow, pedestrian accessibility, and beautification.
To apply for a Commercial Enhancement Grant, complete and submit your application to the Community Development Department. Grants are reviewed once a year in the fall. Deadline for submittal is September 1. Upon review by the Planning and Zoning Commission, applications are then forwarded to

2018 Grant Winners
Congratulations to our 2018 grant winners! The Town awarded a total of $205,384 to the following local businesses and organizations. Funds will help cover costs for a variety of projects such as new signage, improved landscaping, walkways, enhanced outdoor seating areas, ADA access, and more.

In-Kind Services Grant Program
The Winter Park In-Kind Services Grant Program provides town personnel and equipment that can be utilized by local organizations or businesses to assist in completing maintenance on their property that requires specialized equipment (i.e. bucket truck, loader). Organizations or business owners desiring access to these services shall submit an application outlining their proposal and anticipated beneficial impacts. The Town will provide labor and equipment; material costs must be provided by the organization or business. The Town will provide up to 8 hours of personnel time per grant (if 2 or more Town employees are required, each employee counts as an individual hour).
The grant will be awarded based on the availability of Town personnel (Town projects will take priority) so please list multiple dates that the work could be completed.
To apply for an In-Kind Services Grant, complete and submit your In-Kind Services Grant Application (PDF) to the Planning Department. Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Please submit the grant at least 2 weeks prior to the desired Council meeting. The Town Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of each month.
