A portion of the Fraser River Trail will be closed Tuesday, August 4 until Tuesday, August 11 in order for a storm sewer system to be installed at the new Public Works facility. The majority of the trail will be open, but users will not be able to pass through all the way to Old Town. We will be installing additional signage before and during the closure to guide trail users. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
In Winter Park, we aim to be good neighbors to each other. Whether a permanent resident or visiting for a long weekend, we’re respectful of our town, our homes, our environment, and each other. We work together to solve problems and make it a place everyone can live!
As our town evolves, we need to make sure that driving isn’t the only option for getting to work, school, or your favorite trail. Travel by bus, bike, foot, or skis are all viable - and fun - options for our community. It’s easy to navigate Winter Park within Town limits, but it’s also easy to get to Denver or the Front Range.
It’s no secret that many of us live here for the boundless outdoors - we have gorgeous mountains, rivers, and forests that bring in people from all over the world. Let’s celebrate it and embrace this part of our culture!
