Water shortage and new restrictions declared August 19, 2026

Outdoor Watering Days
Beginning August 19, 2026, District customers may only water outdoors 1 day per week and must follow a set schedule.
- Single family residential properties with addresses ending in even numbers may water on Sunday.
- Single family residential structures with addresses ending in odd numbers may water on Saturday.
- All other properties (multi-family, HOA, commercial) may water on Tuesday.
- Public parks and communal irrigated areas are encouraged to reduce water usage by 20%.
Water Times:
- Watering between 6:00pm and 10:00am.
Overview
The Grand County Water and Sanitation District #1 boundary includes Beaver Village, downtown Winter Park, Leland Creek subdivision, and Hi Country Haus.
The District is a stand-alone, quasi-governmental agency separate from the Town of Winter Park and other water and sanitation districts.
District meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the District office - 50 Vasquez Road, Winter Park, CO 80482.
