NOTICE OF PROPOSED ACTION TO MODIFY CHARGES FOR DOMESTIC WATER OR SANITARY SEWER SERVICES

GRAND COUNTY WATER & SANITATION DISTRICT #1

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to Grand County Water and Sanitation District #1 (the “District”) customers and all other interested persons that the Board of Directors of the District will consider a proposal to modify its Tap Fee/Use Fee Schedule to provide a new tap fee category and reduced tap fee amount for affordable housing within the District Service Area and an increase of Tap Fees. The proposal is available for inspection and copying at the District office, which is located at 50 Vasquez Road, Winter Park, CO 80482, during normal business hours.

The District will conduct a public hearing on this proposal during the regular meeting of the District Board of Directors to be held at 5:30 p.m. on October 28, 2020 in the meeting room of the Town of Winter Park at 50 Vasquez Road, Winter Park CO 80482. The change will become effective October 29, 2020.

Overview

The Grand County Water and Sanitation District #1 boundary includes Beaver Village, downtown Winter Park, Leland Creek subdivision, and Hi Country Haus.

The District is a stand-alone, quasi-governmental agency separate from the Town of Winter Park and other water and sanitation districts.

District meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the District office - 50 Vasquez Road, Winter Park, CO 80482.
