Starting on August 3, National Forest System Road 128 (Water Board Road) will be closed to all uses approximately 0.7 miles north of the Jim Creek Trailhead for about 1 mile. This closure is for the construction of a water diversion structure and pipeline by the Winter Park Water and Sanitation District. The project will provide a secondary source of water supply for the District’s water treatment plant that serves the Town of Winter Park and the Winter Park Ski Area. This road closure will remain in effect until October 31, 2020.
