Winter Park deserves the best applicants working to support our community, so when three vacant positions became available for a Police Officer, Records Technician and Equipment Operator, the screening process for each position was held as a top priority.
After reviewing many applications, three qualified individuals were chosen. Join us in welcoming our three new hires: Kalie, Kandace and Gintautas. Kandace is our newest Police Officer joining the Winter Park Police Department. Kandace welcomes us from an already established career as a Park Ranger from New Mexico’s State Parks Department.
Kalie is our Records Technician, who will also be working alongside Kandace for the Winter Park Police Department. Although Kandace has the action piece covered, Kalie will be working on preparing sensitive documents, organizing cases and making sure tasks are coordinated across her team.
Last, but certainly not least, the Public Works Department gained another skillful Equipment Operator, Gintautas! ‘Big G’ as some of his co-workers have nicknamed him, has been another essential member of the Public Works Department. Gintautas works on some of the greatest needs for Winter Park, from street repair to operating all types of machinery.
