Starting September 21, the Colorado Department of Transportation and Contractor KSK, LLC will begin ADA Ramp improvements on United States Highway 40 in Winter Park. The project will improve curb ramps, curbs and gutters, and sidewalks located at several intersections on Main Street and US 40.
Work is expected to last through until October. Normal working hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

As our town evolves, we need to make sure that driving isn’t the only option for getting to work, school, or your favorite trail. Travel by bus, bike, foot, or skis are all viable - and fun - options for our community. It’s easy to navigate Winter Park within Town limits, but it’s also easy to get to Denver or the Front Range.
It’s no secret that many of us live here for the boundless outdoors - we have gorgeous mountains, rivers, and forests that bring in people from all over the world. Let’s celebrate it and embrace this part of our culture!
